    II. to feel at rest, be still or quiet, stir not; kistan þoldi uppi sem fyrr eða nokkuru verr …, Bs. i. 712; (one would say that the mod. tolla, to rest, sit fast, was a corruption of this phrase, were it not that tolla occurs in the verse in Hallfr.
